This month’s Holiday Open House events offers locals a chance to score unique home finds and gifts for everyone on their list

For some families, this holiday season is the first one that will bring everyone together since the start of the pandemic. Those looking for a refresh of their home décor need to look no further than The Nest Home & Co, a unique home décor boutique in Peoria.
“When you walk into The Nest, you instantly feel at home,” says Travy Williams, owner of The Nest Home & Co. “The team always goes above and beyond to help customers curate pieces that transform their home into a nest.”
Nest Home & Co, located at 24650 N. Lake Pleasant Pkwy., #103, is all about a love of home, inspiring women, and creating that “perfect nest.” The Nest opened in 2017 and soon became a popular home decor destination in the area for unique home décor, art, gifts, and furnishings to the Upper Westside.
“I am beyond excited to be part of The Nest,” Williams shares. “We have created a special place where we are brought together by our shared love of transforming our home into a perfect nest. The Nest to me is much more than a home décor destination; it’s where the community and friends are brought together, where our best memories are made.”
With Christmas just around the corner, many families are looking for the perfect home décor for the holiday season. Williams says they encourage customers to come in with photos and videos of their homes so The Nest team can offer design tips, make recommendations, and help special order custom pieces to bring it all together.
“The Nest Home & Co is the go-to place for unique holiday décor,” Williams says. “Our team has gone to several holiday markets and searched high and low for really neat and unique treasures to bring back to Peoria.”
The home décor boutique can even help customers get ideas for their perfect tree this holiday season. The Nest has themed trees on display, including a Boho Glam tree covered with furry textures and metallic finishes and a sweets themed tree for those looking for a playful touch.
November marks the start of the Holiday Open House, line up of pop-ups in partnership with other local businesses and special events for the community to come shop.
Mark your calendars for these upcoming dates:
- 5 – 6, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.: Holiday Open House opening weekend
- 7, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Holiday Open House opening weekend
- 5 – 13: Local clothing retailer Roka Boutique will have a pop-up shop available at Nest Home & Co where curious customers can browse the latest fashion and accessories.
- 14, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Stop by and pick up sweets and treats from Peoria-based bakery Sparkling Divine.
- 20, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Come check out Artisan Olive and shop their selection of olive oils from around the world, sauces, seasonings, and more.
“Each time you walk into The Nest, you’re sure to see new and exciting finds that will allow you to style your home just the way you want it,” Williams says. “We always love for people to stop by and talk design.”
